KIZOMBA LADIES STYLING + BODY MOVEMENT WORKSHOP

Ladies, this one is for you! Let's explore and unlock your "GINGA" 

Kizomba is a sensual style of dance and music heating things up on the dance floor! With origins from Angola, Kizomba is focused on the connection between you, your partner and the music. The goal of this workshop is to feel feminine and beautiful while dancing and gain confidence to reveal and develop your own style for dancing Kizomba and Semba socially.

---No Experience / No Partner Required---

This 2.5 hour workshop is for all levels and introduces basic female body movement and styling that will focus on:

- Musicality and feeling the movement in Kizomba Basic steps
- Ladies Body Movemebt for Kizomba Basics and Kizomba Walk to develop your own "Ginga"
-Body isolations and excerices to take away to practice at home
-Tips on how to be an active follower

Cost: $25 in advance | $35 at the door

Note: Salsa/Ballroom Dance shoes are not required for this workshop. Please feel free to wear footwear that is comfortable for you and does not grip the floor. Sneakers are not recommended for this workshop.

KIZOMBA NIGHTS BLACK & GOLD AFFAIR

Dress to impress, and join us for an evening of all flavors of Kizomba and Semba music, other Afro Caribbean Rhythms and a splash of Bachata at the all new "KIZOMBA NIGHTS" . 

This month we'll have guest DJ Jair (Carlos Cardoso) from Philly in town again playing the best of Kizomba, Zouk, Tarraxinha, Ghetto Zouk, Kompa, Semba, Afro House, Bachata and more until 2am! DJ Jair was one of our featured deejays during the Anniversary Weekender.

We'll also have guest instructor Brandon Bell from Charlotte teaching the intro lesson before the social

BIOGRAPHY
Kimberly Nicole is the founder and Director of Kizomba RDU Dance Company based out of Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, and has been instrumental in growth of the Kizomba dance scene across the Carolinas. She was first introduced to Kizomba in 2012 while attending a festival in Toronto. Since then she has traveled extensively to learn and train from some of the best Kizomba instructors from around the world, most recently training with Mestre Petchu and Vanessa (Portugual) and Lucia Nogueira. 

Kimberly Nicole is known for sharing her knowledge and passion of sensual body movements in a fun and enjoyable way. She has taught Kizomba and Tarraxinha workshops in some of the best Latin and Kizomba Dance festivals across the Southeast including Charlotte Salsa Invitational, Columbia Salsa Summit, Atlanta Kizomba Dream Festival, Queen City Kizomba Festival and Sawa Sawa Kizomba Festival. She teaches weekly classes, holds socials and host events with visiting instructors in the Raleigh/Durham area.

Kimberly Nicole has had a passion for dance since childhood. She began dancing at age three and continued her studies throughout high school and college. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Kimberly Nicole focused her earlier training in jazz, tap, and ballet, later expanding to hip-hop and modern. As a young adult, Kimberly Nicole has broadened her dance repertoire outside of formal studio training and has fallen in love with Afro & Latin social dancing - salsa (on1 and on2), bachata, cha cha, and now Kizomba, Tarraxinha and Semba.
