Intro to Kizomba Crash Course (4 weeks)

Kizomba is a beautiful partnered dance heating things up on the dance floor! With origins from Angola, Kizomba is focused on the connection between you, your partner and the music. Whether you want to learn Kizomba for the first time or improve what you've already learned, this progressive 4 week course is designed to take your Kizomba to the next level - with emphasis on Kizomba foundations, proper technique and body movements for dancing Kizomba, and fun combinations to enhance your social dancing!
Kimberly Nicole will be returning from training in Angola earlier in the month with new material and techniques to share. Over the 4 weeks, we will cover footwork, technique and patterns designed to fit your progression and to give you a well rounded Kizomba experience. Class instruction and exercises will be taught during this 90 min class, after each class to practice what you have learned and ask questions to fine tune your movements and technique at our weekly Kizomba Social.

Kizomba Crash Course: Beyond the Basics (4 Weeks)

Join Kizomba RDU for this special series that will go beyond the basics and introduce you to more of what Kizomba has to offer. This series will build upon your Kizomba foundations and teaches more complex movements that will deepen your understanding of the dance and music.
This 4 - week series is focused on teaching you more complicated technique, patterns, lead and follow concepts to take your dancing to the next level! We will focus on Saida variations, leg pushes or lifts and advanced musicality for dancing Kizomba and Semba socially.
Cost: $50 (4 Weeks) | $15 Drop-in each class
